The park of Villa Borghese is a vast area north of Rome acquired in the late 16th century by the Borghese family. One of its main buildings is the Villa Medici and the other is the magnificent Borghese Gallery. Unfortunately the majority of museums in Italy prohibits the photos inside museums, even without flash! So I have no pictures of the interior of the gallery. It contains Raphael, Correggio, Bernini, Titian… Botticelli, Rubens and so on! An explosion for the eyes and mind!

In lack of photos of all the treasures inside the gallery, here are some of the statues adorning this peaceful and inspiring garden to this delightful place.
